Derek has been supporting independent musicians across Utah for nearly two decades.  As a musician, former manager and agent, music licensing executive, and music attorney, he has sat on nearly every side of the negotiation table. 

After experiencing first-hand the harsh realities of the music industry, Derek established his music-focused practice in 2015 to help protect the talented songwriters, artists, and musicians that Utah has to offer.
